PPHE Hotel Group Strategy Launch
Six months since our appointment by PPHE Hotel Group to further develop their Responsible Business strategy, we’re excited to announce that the new strategy framework, Responsible Experiences, launched earlier this month.
We’ve conducted senior management interviews and distributed an internal poll to team members and in November 2017 key stakeholders, including a selection of Regional General Managers, General Managers, Regional and Corporate Support team members representing all regions (United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, Hungary and Croatia), were invited to participate in an all-day workshop to discuss internal views and set initial priorities.
Using this research and insight, we drew up a new Responsible Business strategy and pillars which have been communicated via PPHE Hotel Group’s Annual Report (available on their website www.pphe.com/responsibility).
The next area of activity is to set targets and ensure systems and processes are in place so that we can measure and report on the areas of activity identified under each strategic pillar. This part of the project is currently ongoing and includes discussing methodology for each target, what data the business currently holds or needs to start collecting for reporting purposes. In the coming weeks, we will also be gathering views of whether each target is of high, medium or low impact to PPHE Hotel Group’s business. Using this research and insight, we will create a Materiality report that explains how we assessed and identified our most material issues.
